Limb of the limbs
The watercolor exhibition “Limb Limit” by Sirkku Ros will be opened at the Tampere House Gallery (Jaani 4) on Thursday, July 27 at 5 pm.
The theme of the exhibition by Tampere artist Sirkku Rosi is the border of the human physical and inner world. “I’m looking at that boundary, which seems very clear to me but fragile,” the artist describes. His watercolors depict everyday situations that have become absurd. Blood flows through the skin of the people in the works because the boundaries of the physical and inner worlds are open. “Where does the line between the inner world unique to each person and the world shared by others run,” the artist asks.
Sirkku Rosi was born in 1987 in Tampere. In 2015, he graduated from Aalto University with a degree in arts. The artist has had several exhibitions both at home and abroad.
The exhibition will be open until August 20.
The gallery is open daily from 9:00 to 18:00.
Admission is free!
