Disappearance and temporality

Tampere artist Hanna Oinonen will open an exhibition on disappearance and temporality at Tampere House on Wednesday, May 31 at 5 pm.

Oinonen’s space is not three but four-dimensional. He is interested in what has happened in the premises in the past. “There was a perfect picnic lawn near our home, but now it has become a construction site. There is no longer any indication of what this place used to be. ”

Oinonen is interested in space and the changes that are taking place in it. “Against the background of my works, there is a feeling of hopelessness that arises in the current situation of the world,” admits the artist. “The plane shot down in a Ukrainian field is one example of how crazy the world is.”

Oinonen (born 1971) has studied at the Kankaanpää Art School, the Lahti Art Institute and the Warsaw Academy of Arts, among others. The artist has organized several exhibitions both in Finland and abroad. The Oinonen exhibition is open until June 26. The gallery is open daily from 9 am to 6 pm. Free entrance!
