Some of them are based on old people&#8217;s stories, some on family tradition, some on folklore and some on fantasy. Some songs are given in both dialect and free translation. It is a kind of continuation of the two sections of Juhan Jaig&#8217;s &#8220;V\u00f5rumaa stories&#8221; based on old-fashioned storytelling and folklore. The locations of the stories are V\u00f5rumaa, Peipsiveer, Setomaa on both our and Petseri&#8217;s side, the island of Kulkna (Kolpino) and the village of Chudskaja Rudnitsa on the other shore of Lake L\u00e4mmij\u00e4rv.
